Day 5: This paved doubletrack is accessed from a nearly vertical singletrack that begins yards from the backdoor of our chosen Waimea apartment suites. The tracks eventually turn into a dirt Jeep road that leads to options high in the forest hills above North Kohala. One spur is technical singletrack that is uniquely Hawaiian.
