Day 6: On the way to a favorite snorkeling spot and private beach, we pass a sacred site still in use to this day. Most temples are commercialized, there to wow the tourists. Some of those are so freaky that we hesitate to put pictures of them on this website. This one is the real deal, still in use. "Wow!" See that sign. Get used to it. "Kapu" means "Keep Out." Most signs like this are bogus and keep you from crossing private land to gain access to public lands and beaches. Some signs are honest attempts to protect private land and important cultural sites. Some are VERY serious, like this one. We will help you sort it out!
