Day3: All along the lonely south coast there are spurs to remote and deserted beaches, offering a variety of mountain bike challenges, not to mention outstanding views of the ocean and lava cliffs. There was a huge southern swell on this day and the waves were crashing over the lava cliffs of the shoreline and into tide pools alive with little black crabs, that are best eaten raw.
